Join us Sunday 9th June for the last conservation task of the current season

unspecified-2Sunday 9th June will be our last conservation task for the current season. We’ll start again on Sunday 8th September.

On Sunday we’ll return to the Dry Heath near Boathouse Corner for further removal of invasive birch seedlings and saplings and bramble to keep the heath open.

As usual, we assemble at the Countryside Workshop, Old Pump House Close, Fleet, GU51 3DA; parking in Kenilworth Road.

The forecast at the moment is for a dry week, so no need for wellies, just strong shoes to deal with the uneven surface.

Please let our Ranger Sam know if you plan to join us so she can ensure we load enough tools. Email: countryside@hart.gov.uk

Strong gloves will be needed and we have a stock available. We provide a warm drink mid-morning, but please bring your own water or cold drink if required.
